Lotus Europa Series II, 1970 Barn Find - Great Restoration Project!! VIN # 65/2912Mileage: 29,710 All original car, even has original paint! Car includes all three original keys & tool kit! We installed new plugs and wires, new battery, a new gear reduction starter (see photo). We flushed fluids and installed a new oil filter and she started right up! Has Renault engine assembly and four speed transmission. Runs well and shifts into all gears. We did pull out the seats and remove the old carpet. Floors are nice and don't have any cracks. There are some small imperfections in the paint, as to be expected with age. Also, while test driving the car, the speedometer cable broke. The tires that are currently on the car are dry rotted and should not be driven on; however, the wheels themselves are still very nice for age. Car is still solid underneath, look at photos at end of listing. We do have a spare for the car, which we believe to be original; it was sitting beside the car in it's original barn location. These cars are hard to come by, especially in such good condition! It would not take a lot of work to get this car back to its original glory!
