DETAILED DESCRIPTION 1954 Chevrolet Suburban Drive Train Rebuilt 350, 4 bolt main; Edelbrock RPM intake; headers; Excel plugs & wires; new Summit CarburetorHolds great oil pressure!Motor runs GREAT! 200-R4 4-speed automatic transmission; B&M convertor lock up control (set at 45 mph); new transmission cooler Camaro 10 bolt rear end with highway gearCamaro front sub frame Brakes-Suspension New . . . power booster; master cylinder; front brake calipers; rear wheel cylinders; brake lines to back; front coil springs and shocks; rear shocks; 2 1/2 inch exhaust with thrush turbo mufflers Corvette wheels with like-new tires Body Completely media blasted; replaced floor pan and firewall (smooth); etched; primed; base coat/clear coat paint Suburban is very straight with only a few minor dings All glass weather stripping is new; all glass is new except for the two back doors and they are in good shape New . . . door weather stripping; window felt; fender welt; wing vent rubber; aluminum window and door handles; cowl to hood seal; wiper arms & blades; outside mirror; radio antenna Front and rear bumpers have been shaved smooth Running boards sprayed with bed liner Interior New . . . Vintage heat/air/defrost; seat upholstery; padding & carpet; headliner; door panels Speedometer, fuel, oil pressure, water temperature, voltage gauge . . . all work.Headlights, brake lights, turn signals, four way flashers, and interior lights . . . all work. What Suburban needs . . . The transmission is shifting late and hard into second gear. It will not lock into overdrive. I was told that the convertor could be bad but not sure.Needs electric wiper motor. (ClassicParts.com $175.00)Could use tie rod ends and front sway bar in my opinion. (O'Reillys Inner Tie Rods $13.99/each, Outer Tie Rods $10.49/each, Sway Bar $125.00) Owner has clear title in his name. Owner wants to have a 1950's Cab-Over built . . . must sell this Suburban to finance the next project. You won't need to do much to have a nice Hot Rod . . . hard work is done!Easy finish before next seasons car shows!
