Vehicle Detail
Please take the time to read the description and look through all the pictures in the link provided: https://picasaweb.google.com/AvusBlauS50/635csi?authkey=Gv1sRgCMTXxpfe7J3icA Body (8.5/10): This 100% rust free California car has a clean title. Having never been in any sort of accident, this car has all original, matching VIN body panels. The paint is in extremely good shape considering the age of the vehicle. To this day, the Zinnoberrot paint shines extremely well. Though, the paint is not perfect and does have a few imperfections here and there (minor scratches, rock chips and markings). The vehicle has a few very minor dings with the largest one being on the hood as pictured. The lower valence is cracked but is hard to see unless you get up close to it. Overall, the body is very straight and lines up well. This car has also been upgraded with 17x8 BBS Style 5 wheels. The tires are 235/45/17 Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires and have about 80% thread left all around. Interior (9/10): The front and rear seats were reupholstered not too long ago in real matching leather. The main floor carpet, as well as the floor mats, has been professionally steam cleaned. All the door panels are in great condition. Typical of E24s, the dash board has several cracks and is covered by a Bavarian Motorsport Dash Cover. All of the electronics are in working order. The buttons work, dash lights up, odometer is working, etc. The sunroof is in full working order and does not leak at all. Engine/Transmission (8/10): The engine on this vehicle runs extremely well with no weird noises, knocks or hesitations. The compression is solid across all 6 cylinders. The transmission upshifts and downshifts smoothly through all the gears with no clunking. It is evident that this car has spent the majority of its life cruising down the highway. Suspension/Brakes (8.5/10): Although the suspension and brakes have not undergone a complete overhaul, the necessary maintenance has been kept up on these components of the vehicle. The suspension has just been replaced with completely new Bilstein Sport Struts with H&R Sport springs (factory springs are still available). This car also has a Racing Dynamics Strut brace installed. I recently drove an 88' M6 and this car feels firmer in comparison. The car comes to a solid stop from 80 MPH with no hesitation or vibration. I had a slight brake shimmy and occasional brake squeal and had my mechanic take care of these issues. The overall ride is clunk and rattle-free even on rough roads. The suspension and steering are tight and precise. I would not at all hesitate to drive this car anywhere! On Nov-08-12 at 19:16:45 PST, seller added the following information: I would like to add two things which I have been getting asked about often:-The A/C is completely operational and blows cold air.-The car does does not have any fluid leaks.
