Rust free 1969 Jaguar XKE Roadster originally purchased new in California and stored inside since 1994 when we bought it. Has assorted areas of collision damage but no rust. All the glass is good. No soft top or tonneau cover but instead has a rare factory hardtop with all the chrome trim and hardware. Car runs and the engine sounds strong. The bonnet will need a new lower valance and LH fender. We are supplying a good RF fender, LF door shell and LR bumper blade with the car. The interior is decent with nice seats and door panels. The floors and trunk area have no rust. This auction is a no reserve auction starting at $7950.00. High bidder gets the car and extra parts. Don't call and ask to "buy it now" or "will we sell the hardtop by itself". We are a licensed Washington State Auto Dismantler and will supply an auto wreckers Bill of Sale with the vehicle, from which it can be re-titled (instructions are printed on reverse of that document). We have displayed a copy of the Bill of Sale at the end of this auction listing. If you cannot arrange local pick-up there is a freight forwarder within 1/2 mile of our business. Nothing older than 1962. Watch for coming auctions on E-bay. Please have your funds arranged before you bid. We had a flakey high bidder ( loomboy ) renege on this car with no money and lots of BS. Items listed by us on eBay are described to the best of our ability, occasionally a defect may be unintentionally overlooked or the customer's interpretation of merchantability may differ from ours. We will offer a replacement or refund if the part is returned to us undamaged. Under no circumstances do we refund shipping in either direction. On Oct-23-12 at 13:23:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Attached is the document the winning bidder will be provided with. As you can see it has the title procedure for the state of Washington. It is up to you to determine if this is sufficient to title a car in the state, province, or country to which you are importing this vehicle. You could restore the car and then bring it back to Washington state, have it inspected by our state patrol, and then go to our department of licensing with the bill of sale from us and the inspection from the state patrol. At that time department of licensing will issue a title to you in your name. Because of the age of the vehicle the title will not say salvage or rebuilt.
