1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham CLEAR TITLE - NO RESERVE!!! For sale is my pride and joy, a 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham in very good condition for its age. As you Caddy enthusiasts know, this is a coveted car-the last year of the full size RWD, yet it’s OBDII so you can still be comfortable using it as a daily driver. The car is ready to jump in and drive away. I acquired this vehicle 2-3 years ago and have since sunk a lot of money into it. Only synthetic fluids have been used, and I have been religious about maintenance. Virtual all of the electronic functions work well (A/C, heat, cruise, power windows, cig. lighters). The motor does not leak or burn oil. The auto tranny shifts like the day it was born, especially since I’ve filled it with Red Line D4 ATF a couple months ago. New Parts: -Front tires are new, rears have about 4k on them. -Thermostat -Most of the A/C System -Spark plugs & wires -Transmission, differential, engine oil, and power steering have been flushed with Red Line synthetic fluid (the best there is, cost me about $600) -MAP Sensor -Rear drums & shoes -Fuel pump -Ignitor -Front pads -Brake fluid & coolant flush -Muffler -Fresh VA Inspection! Cosmetically, I would give the exterior an 8/10 and the interior an 8.5/10. I would give the landau top a 5/10. The body is pretty solid, with a little rust popping up in a few small areas. Mainly, the areas would be around the doorsills. The chrome is also oxidizing in some places, and the fenderwells have the familiar rust-through going on (although I’ve Bondo’d most of it). The leather seats are bordering on excellent condition, with only one small tear on the side of the driver’s seat. Now, I will list the only known issues with the car I can think of, however slight: -There is sometimes a slight miss in high-load, low-RPM scenarios (like going up some hills). It’s slight, and it can be avoided by pressing the gas harder. I’ve been driving it like this for thousands of miles and it hasn’t gotten any worse or better. I’ve tried replacing all the simple stuff; I’m guessing it’s something with the optispark system? Haven’t fussed with it much since it’s still reliable and it is getting very good gas mileage for a big car. I've taken it to Michigan a couple times like this and it's done fine. -There is usually a check engine light (probably related to issue #1). The code is random misfire detected. -The traction control & ABS lights come on about half the time. Never messed much with this, because I’m not a fan of either one. - I have replaced the factory radio with an aftermarket Pioneer unit, which you can tell was not professionally installed. I also did not hook the antenna back up. Sound is great with CD’s and iPods, etc… SO! Undoubtedly a great Caddie for a great price. Please, I beg you, do not pepper me with nit-picky questions about the car. It's old and certainly not perfect. I can already tell you it's going to go for way less than what it's worth. However, it could be perfect with a little work, depending on what you have in mind for it. Will make a great DD or full restoration. I think it's the bushings on top of the struts. Suspension and steering operate well. 2) The car also has new brake hoses! Thanks again!!!
