Testing the waters here and decided to sell my beloved 1983 Audi URQ at a spur the moment. If it doestnt sell here on ebay, I wont be relisting it and will just keep it. I will spare you the rally history on these cars, and if you are searching for these cars you probably know alot about them. What I have is a 100% original low milage example of an 83' URQ Mars red with chocolate brown leather interior. It currently has just shy of 57,000 miles and this number will go up slightly as my father is driving the car on a daily basis in Southern FL. I put about 6,000 miles on the car since I purchased it 3 years ago and just dont have the time to enjoy it like I want to. Like I said it is all original inside including the radio, owners manual, tool kit and has original paint all over, all the buttons work including the cruise control. Added Bosch fog lights and european fog light switch to replace the blank dummy switch. Dash is in great shape as you can see from the picturtes The car drives great and is very reliable on a daily basis, the engine sounds amazing, there are no leaks of any kind. It shifts perfectly -put in new shift link rod with bushing, and there are absolutely no weird noises of any kind when driving. I think if the fuel/air mixture was adjusted and tuned by an expert, the car would perform even better. It doesn't accelerate to its best potential up to 3000rpm but goes like crazy from 3-5k. I havent driven other stock 10v URQ's so maybe its normal, but I think it has more in it. I have a ton of paperwork with receipts for this car from the previous owner and myself. They are scanned and I can email the to you upon request It has: New fuel lines and Brake Lines, Bilstein front and rear shocks, new alternator and battery, new calipers and rotors and quattro performance exaust. AC has been converted to 134a and blows pretty cold (cold enough for souther FL in the summer) I have a receipt from the previous owner that the ECU was chipped as well. The only mechanical issue with the car is that the differential lock lights up sometimes when accelarating hard but does nothing. Power locks dont work, so Iam pretty sure there is a vaccum leak that would fix those 2 issues. We havent looked at it because the car is in FL and there was never a need and its a hastle to try and lift the car up that high in the garage. Car fax show that there was 1 accident with this car. The previous owner said that it was hit slightly in the rear while standing at a red light, the impact was less then 5mph and I have pictures of the minor bumper/valence damage. Instead of repairing and repainting it, I sourced out a rear mars red bumper and valence for the car to keep it 100% original without any paint. The subframes show surface rust because it was sitting before I bought it in storage for 2 yaers on the coast of MA, I do have a spare OEM used front and rear subframes that I will included with the rear sway bar and brand new bushings and mounts. Besides some surface rust on the subframes, there is no rust on this car. Its very well maintained, again no sunroof or other leaks of any kind. Iam including both the original 15X7 ronal wheels with original cooper tires, and the sought after 15X8 ronals that are currently on the car. They are in mint condition and just make the car look so much better I have a spare URQ windshield, and many other spare parts. I haven't seen another URQ with such low milage, it is all stock and if you want an original URQ for your collection, this would be it. No 20V engine swaps, just factory specs.
