Runs and drives well!! This is a great example of the 1982 Chevrolet Corvette. While it was the last year for this body style, introudced first in 1968, it came with many technologic advancements, such as "Cross Fire" fuel injection, adding both horsepower and fuel economy. The automatic transmission was also all new for the 1982 model year. Mechanically, this specific Corvette is in great condition. The engine starts easily and runs smoothly without issue. It accelerates nicely and shifts well. All of the installed electrics work as they should - headlights, tail lights, etc. function properly, as does the radio. The battery is in good shape and has much life left in it. An inspection of the underside shows that all the rubber seals are in good shape and not leaking any fluids. The transmission fluid as well as the oil have recently been checked and replaced as necessary. The interior and exterior of this car are both also in great shape. The interior specifically looks as if it has never been sat in The seats show no signs whatsoever of any wear and the carpets are not worn through at all. The dash, center consol and rear storage area are also in good condition, showing little sign of wear. The glass all around is in good shape. The paint, wheels and other exterior trim pieces are all in good shape. There are no major scratches around the car and no dents to be seen. There has been no accident damage to this car and all bumpers and misc. trim is original. There are no areas on this car that have been repainted either.
