For Sale is a 40+MPG , 2005 Jetta GLS Turbo Diesel with less than 139,000 miles on the engine and 206,533 miles on the Transmission. Everything on this vehicle works except for intermittent reverse problem with the Transmission. Important facts about this vehicle: Clean Title and Clear Car Fax report. This car has a solid engine that was installed in March 2012, it is a used engine that I bought from a Canadian Salvage Yard with 132,000 miles. Engine and turbo run good but after the engine was installed I began to notice transmission fluid leaking from the transmission and shortly there after I began to feel a slight vibration coming from the transmission which led to a reverse gear intermittent failure to engage. Basically the reverse gear will not engage after the car has been sitting for a little while. All the other gears work fine but the reverse just fails regularly, this car will likely need either transmission work to get the leak and the reverse gear fixed or a new transmission. This is vehicle is in fair condition in and out, paint is ok as seen on the pictues. It definitely has potential with some TLC. It has 18" chrome wheels. One of the chrome wheels was taken off due to losing air due to a bend on the inside of the rim. I was told it can be repaired though.
