1970 Cadillac Calais 4 Door Hardtop 1 of 5,187 made! **Relisting because of non-paying bidder**Serious bidders only please Listed as a Deville because Calais is not an option on Ebay. The only difference was the Calais did not have a vinyl top, no leather, no fake woodgrain inside and the reverse lights were different. Car has 98k original miles. Engine: Runs good, always taken care of. 472 ci motor 375hp 525lbs of torque. New battery. New Crane Cams points conversion, new cap, fireball coil and rotor, new plugs and wires, new fuel filter, new air filter and pcv valve, new fuel pump, rebuilt carburetor, new master cylinder, new voltage regulator. Does not overheat at all. No leaks from engine or tranny. Has A/C but would need recharged. Interior: Gold and tan interior. New carpet. Shampooed interior. No cracks on dash. New floor mats. Small holes in the front headliner behind the visors from when lights were on top as a funeral home car and another silver dollar size hole by the side of the headliner. 2 small tears in the front seats by the pattern on the back but honestly not noticeable at all. AM/FM radio works. Power windows all work. Bench seat moves as it should. Interior lights and dummy lights work. No rust at all on the floor pans! Other: All chrome trim and bumpers are RUST FREE top to bottom, no pits either, very very nice! New front brake pads and rotors. Fresh oil change. Newer shocks. Has been repainted, paint is shiny, with some spots of paint flaked off showing original white below. Rust on the lower fenders but was filled and painted over, now has cracked. Door jambs have some surface rust in spots on top of the paint because the jambs have original paint on them, could be buffed out with rubbing compound but I wasn’t worried about cleaning the door jambs. All doors hood and trunk shut very solid. No cracks in glass or plastics. Trunk has original jack parts and a spare, all carpeted. Emblems are all there and excellent condition. Undercarriage was undercoated at one point so is in decent shape, if you looked under you would say "not bad". Tires are good, big whitewalls look best on a big white car!! Car rides very very smooth. Ive owned many other Cadillacs and this 70 tops the cake. It’s fun to drive and gets looks and thumbsup every time I take it out. Just the pure size and the bright white really make it stand out in traffic. I don’t doubt it could be driven a long ways, it went on a 1200 mile trip in the 90s and I take it on the interstate at 65mph every weekend. The car needs nothing to get in and drive every day!
