This auction is for a 1971 International Scout II 4WD truck. I owned this vehicle in the early 80's until 1984 and sold it to an elderly gentleman that went on to drive it sparingly until 1992. The mileage is actual and just over 58000 original miles. The truck is equipped with a 258 inline 6 and 3 speed manual transmission mated to a 2 speed part time 4WD transfer case. The front axle also has a pair of the Warn automatic locking hubs, they're a ratcheting style hub that will lock when power is supplied to the differential and remain open when driving normally. This truck has been in dry storage since 1992 and I recently brought it out because they are selling the building it was stored in. The truck is pretty rusty, and the windshield is broken, so this is a big resto project. On the other hand, the sum of the parts is well more than what I am looking to get for the entire vehicle. We are located in Omaha NE, and can aid with loading on a transport. The truck can sit at my place for up to 30 days from date of purchase, but we cannot be responsible for it as it is sitting outside behind our business.
