Numbers matching Series 1 Jaguar Etype 2+2 Coupe..I have checked the numbers and the head matches the ID tag as does the number on the frame rail..covered headlight , tri carb motor. Mechanically the car is in very goon order, new front brakes and suspension,. also a new front exhaust section was fitted, upon inspection I noticed a hole in the rear exhaust muffler so I would recoment that to be replaced..the car runs and drives just as it should, starts up with excellent oil pressure, remains at 35 to 40 when hot, car runs cool with no overheating issues..brakes ,,lights..etc all function fine The body of the car is also in very good condition for an original car...the car was repainted in its original color a numver of years ago and still shows very well..there are a few very small paint bubbles on the lower driver sider if the bonnett..Under the car is in good shape,,the boot / trunk showes very slight surface rust..the floors have some rust towards the front where it meets the firewall, not all that bad but it is there ... this car came from Florida in 2002 and has only been in New England for 10 years, it was always garaged . The car has all of its original triplex glass and it is in good condition, the chrome showes some pitting but will clean up to a very respectable level.. Interior is very nice...the seats show no wear whatsoever, new carpets in the front, the side pieces are original and need replacing...headliner is also original and very nice...dash is also very nice,,all gauges are complete with just the cigar lighter missing, original radio functions fine.. rev counter is not working The car shows just 36,000 miles, the speedo is working but I cannot validate the correct miles ...the car is in overall very good condition and can be used and enjoyed just as it is,,it can be inspected at my home at any time with proper notice you can call me directly or email...603 997 9586
