1984 Porsche 928S, not  driveable The short: Good condition, SoCal 1984 US 928S 4.7L dogleg 5-speed with extended leather, limited slip differential, factory  rub strip delete, sunroof, and factory premium audio.  190k+ miles, but with a nice stack of records.  I bought it running  but stuck in 2nd gear, problem not diagnosed.  I removed the exhaust and clutch and found that the secondary pressure plate  had cracked due to one of the bellhousing inner clutch fork tabs having broken.  I found no other damage, and purchased a  replacement used bellhousing from 928intl.com and a used secondary pressure plate from a fellow Rennlister.  I separated  the bellhousing from the torque tube but have not yet removed the torque tube or old bellhousing from the car.  And there  she sits, covered in the corner of my driveway. More details: It appears to be completely original and unwrecked, with clean title and history.  AC likely does not work  (untested).  Inspected the timing belt and it appears to be in good condition.  There is a shallow dent (pictured), lower  driver's side fender and front door.  The front spoiler is missing the center section, pictured.  The leather dash and  seats have some separation, pictured.  It is missing some tools and the spare.  It is missing most upper carpets (the plush  Porsche-lettered ones).  The driver's door handle needs to be replaced, and I have the replacement handle and lock  cylinder, keyed to the master key.  The tires and wheels are okay (tires have kept air) but not fit for 100+ mph driving.   I have purchased many new parts that go with the car -- FPR, filters, clutch slave, rear seal.  It has been sitting for  four months. $200 non-refundable deposit accepted via PayPal only within 48 hours; balance must be via cash if in person or allow 14  days to clear ANY check, including cashier's checks.  Local pick-up encouraged (91775 zip code).  Shipping is the  responsibility of the new owner, though I can help load it and meet the shipper.  For California buyers: it is currently in  non-op registration.  I have the clean and clear title ready for the new owner.  Feel free to email me through eBay with  your contact information and I will call or email you almost immediately.
