Incoming we have a gorgeous 1978 Chevrolet Corvette. This specific vehicle is the Pace car spec for the 62nd running of the famous Indianapolis 500 motor race. Finished in black/silver two tone paint, this vehicle features the original decals on the driver and passenger door. The rather striking paint combination, silver on the bottom, black on the top, shows some signs of wear, with only minor. There is some pitting on the center of the hood. The frame and undercarraige are completely rust free as this vehicle has been kept indoors thoughout its life. The interior is in similar condition, showing signs of wear. The front seats have some cracking. (see photos) Mechanically, this car starts up and runs very well. The mileage is original as this vehicle has not been driven often in recent years.
