1987 Ferrari Testarossa Offered for your consideration is an excellent driving example of the legendary Ferrari Testarossa,presented in black with port interior.Recent full engine out service less than 200 miles ago ,with all belts,fluids,plugs etc.(receipts available) to the tune of $8800 parts and labor.The cars twin fuel injection system has been cleaned and the two plenums have been tuned to perfection .Throttle response is instant with no hesitation at any engine speed,hot or cold.The car will sit and idle in traffic and not overheat but this is not as much fun as what it is intended to do,drive with bravado! The car shifts,corners and handles impeccably,brakes and shocks are tight.. Too often this marque is put on a pedestal by the wealthy where it is used as a status symbol and its true purpose lost,the passion of driving.This car is still fast by todays standards and its styling timeless. In the intersest of full disclosure:The title that I have in my name is clear,however the carfax shows damage and a salvage title issued in 2004.Somehow the subsequent title was not recorded as salvage.The car shows no evidence of this however and the carfax devaluation for this is $3,850 off of the value. You will not get a better driving 12 cylinder Ferrari anywhere at the reserve price. The car is not perfect but its positives far outweigh any negatives.Tires are excellent,brakes are excellent,clutch is excellent,all lights work,both inside and outside.The AC was working in June but has a slow leak in compressor seal.The automatic retractable seatbelts operate sporadically at times. If you want a car to achieve membership in the upper echelon of the Ferrari country club elite and park it on a golfcourse then this is not the car for you. If you have ever dreamed of an Italian exotic, the reality is attainable right here at great value for money,it is reliable,solid and shows well.I have owned and driven the 308's and 328's and can assure you that they cannot compare to this model.The price is right,the car is good.Have you ever seen a beautiful woman standing in a crowd ? nobody approaches her as they are all too indecisive,insecure etc.Finally ,just when you summon the nerve and are about to say hi,another man walks up ,they chat and she smiles and and they leave.You never forgot losing that opportunity so don't let this one slip by,man up,you will not regret it.
