Description and pictures will be up soon. Feel free to save to your watch list but please bid until the pics and description are up. Thank you!On Oct-16-12 at 22:33:28 PDT, seller added the following information: 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger 340 automatic. B5 blue/white stripe, black interior, no vinyl top. All original. The 2 pictures where the car is blue with a white stripe is what the car looked like when I bought it. You can see that very little bodywork was needed. There were absolutely no rust bubbles whatsoever. The body is now perfectly straight. I'm picky when it comes to straight panels and straight, consistent body lines, so I made sure they are at least as good as factory. I perfected all of the lead lines (rear roof pillars, rear quarters, rockers). The engine compartment was already restored and painted when I bought the car so I masked very carefully so as not to get overspray in there. The engine and all other components, including the radiator, are 100% numbers matching to the car. The rear end has 3:55 gears. The engine, transmission, rear end, front end and brakes were all rebuilt 600 miles ago. The motor has a healthy cam. Nice and lopey but very streetable. That is the only modification to the motor from factory. The carb and exhaust manifolds are original to the car. In fact, everything on the car is original to the car with the exception of the wheels, dash pad, carpet and seatcovers, which are new and perfect. The exhaust is also new (600 miles ago), as well as the gas tank and fuel lines. The car runs and shifts great but the starter needs to be shimmed. It engages fine. The car starts and drives fine, but the starter doesn't fully disengage, so at a low RPM, it touches the flywheel. New starter, just installed last week. The car must be started in neutral. Bad switch doesn't always let it start in park. The front suspension was completely rebuilt 600 miles ago. New everything. Tie rod ends, ball joints, all bushings, etc. The car is an original power steering car with everything present. In fact, nothing is missing from the car at all. I even have the pentastar emblem for the front fender, which is included. The fender tag in the photo is original to the car but was taken off when the engine compartment was being restored and the tag was never repainted or put back on. Yes, I guarantee it is the original tag. The interior is mostly new (carpet, seat covers, package tray, dash pad) but a headliner needs to be installed and the metal part of the dash needs to be painted (B7 blue). The seat belts are present and need to be installed. Super-easy. The splash panels in the front fenderwells are present and need to be installed (it's just a couple bolts -I don't have the bolts). As far as what the car needs, that's it. As it is, you can get in and drive anywhere, but I'd shim that starter first. This car has absolutely ZERO leaks of any kind, anywhere. Not a single drop of any fluid has ever fallen from this car in the several years I have owned it. And yes, all fluids are full. All glass in the car is excellent with no chips, scratches or scuffs. Windows roll up and down perfectly. Wing windows operate and lock perfectly. All trim is in excellent condition with no dings. Both bumpers are in excellent condition with no dings or fading. They are nice and straight and the chrome is exceptionally shiny for original bumpers, never rechromed. The driver's side headlight bezel is in excellent condition without a single ding. The passenger's side one has a small bit of damage, as shown, but otherwise nice. The taillight housings are in excellent condition with no dings or bends at all and the chrome on them is excellent. Lenses are perfect. The grill is in excellent condition with no dings or bends anywhere. Still shines nicely. The hood lip moulding is original and excellent with great shine and no dings. All window trim is excellent with great shine and no dings. All lights work, as do the turn signals, wipers, etc. Please send me a message if you think of something I forgot. I can recommend a transport company who is inexpensive, reliable, and has never let me down. High bidder, feel free to ask me for their info.
