This is a barn fresh 1973 amc amx javelin.It has 77162 miles showing on the odometer,i dont know if thats original or if its turned over.It is a factory fresh plum car with black interior.Options include air conditioning,rally wheels, front disc brakes, tac and gauges, .This car starts and drives but is not considered safe to be driven,so it will need to be towed if purchased. Im no car expert but i will describe as best i can what i know.The car has been repainted at some point earlier in its life and the drivers door and front fender were replaced at that time.There are no signs of heavy collision damage to the inner structure or under side of the car so i think it must have been a minor fender bender. the fiberglass cowl top of hood has separated from the steel under-structure..There are areas of rust in the rear panels,floor inside rocker area,trunk floor and front left fender.I think most rust is fixable its not rotted out.The inside is all there with the front seat showing heavy wear ,the carpet is shot and there are mouse holes in the head liner above the visors.the engine starts and runs and the tranny shifts firmly and it lays rubber with both rear wheels so i think it has a posi rear end.It has nice sounding dual pipes all the way out the back that seem to be in good shape.It has like new tires on the factory wheels that hold air and roll smooth but again because of there age and being stored for so long i wouldnt consider them safe.This car hasnt been driven in 5 years other than up and down my road a couple miles a few times,it running on old gas so expect to clean the fuel system.All in all this a good old classic muscle car that could be easily restored or even mildly worked on for that weekend hobby car,it is a great color combo thats sure to draw attention .This car is being sold as-is with no warranty.Please ask questions and i will try to respond.A $500.00 deposit must be paid within 48 hrs of purchase, balance when car is picked up.I will help load on transport if needed but pick up and any shipping will be buyers responsibility .The car is listed locally and will end auction early if it sells locally.
