Vehicle Detail

NOTE!!!! I withdrew this car from previous auction because of a mechanical failure. The engine gave out. The engine has now been professionally rebuilt. Comes with a 35k mile guarantee. For sale is my 1965 Pontiac SW. This is a rust free California black plate car. I found this car in Russian River CA. It had been in dry storage for many years (mid 80's I was told). I am the second owner and the title is clean. The odometer reads 80623 miles. I'm not sure if it is genuine but judging by the condition the car is in, I wouldn't be surprised. It still has its original Capri Gold paint it is wearing thin in places but still shines (nice patina). The body is in excellent shape. Bumpers and trim are in very good shape. The only sign of any repair is on the l/h rear quarter. Looks like a minor fender bender that was repaired many years ago. The tailgate has been repainted at some stage and is cracking. I have rebuilt the brakes, new master cyl, wheel cylinders, shoes, hoses. The 389 runs good, doesn't overheat or burn oil. The transmission is in good shape. It has a new Flowmaster exhaust (not on car when pics taken) the car has been lowered with new springs and shocks (not cut or heated). It has new Boss 338 20" & 18" wheels and tires. Original wheels and hubcaps go with the car. The interior is in good shape besides a seam coming apart on the front seat. The dash pad is good. Lights, wipers, turn signals, horn, tailgate all work. Needs carpet. When I was cleaning the car I found a copy of the SF Chronicle from 1969 under the rear seat. It features the moon landing. This is included in the sale. I was going to repaint the car but changed my mind when I saw how well it came out after a coat of wax!! I have done my best to describe the car honestly. If you need any more info or pics just ask. Independent inspections are welcome.
