1990 Mercedes 300D diesel powered, 4 door up for bids. Automatic transmission, new tires and battery, brakes completely overhauled (new rotors & pads). Extra parts include: 1 set (4) used wheels in good condition, NOS (new old stock) battery tray , NOS right headlight unit/assembly, new factory correct high end floor mats, new under hood mat/sound deadener and a few other smaller parts and pieces. Also 3 manuals I bought to help with restoration, that I never got around to. Engine fires right up and seems to run fine. Car is equiped with sunroof which works. I believe the regulator for the driver side door is broken because I hear the electric motor running but window will not go up or down. All other windows work properly. I put aproximately 1500 miles on this car before I parked it and moved on to other things. Origionally purchased this as a daily driver/restoration project which I now see I'll probably never get around to and am selling as just that, a project, although car is drivable. 225,000 miles if memory serves which is about 1/2 the expected service life of these diesels. Currently licenced and insured but tag will expire soon. Car has been repainted in the past and has 2 small dings that I have noticed. Bottom line is I'm not young anymore and a project like this is just more than I want to undertake at this point. Also I will be adding photos of a small rust spot by the rear glass and it's been brought to my attention that the jacking points are also rust prone. I'll pull those plugs and take photos for all to see within the next 24 hours. As I write this it's 10/15, 7:25 pm EST.On Oct-16-12 at 08:08:14 PDT, seller added the following information: Added are pictures showing the jacking points and a spot of rust located a the top dirverside above the rear glass. If anyone wants other photos please advise and I will supply for everyone to see.
