Vehicle Detail
I am the second owner of this LandCruiser We purchased it in Florida in 2001. Unfortunately it was in an accident two weeks ago resulting in it landing on it drivers side. There is no damage to the roof or pillars... sunroof works perfectly. The windshield, front drivers fender, drivers door and rear panel have damage. Airbags did not deploy The drivers side passenger door opens perfectly; drivers door binds due to damage to front fender and door. No damage to rest of vehicle. Vehicle has no rust. Vehicle is not driveable... towing company disabled transmission linkage and I think for safety reasons it will not start. A body shop could bring this vehicle back to life, or can be parted out. Outside of the obvious damage, I would say the vehicle is in fair to average condition. The tires are Generals and have 12000 miles on them; a second set of four goes with the vehicle... maybe 10000 - 15000 miles left. Vehicle is stored indoors and located just outside Atlanta. For further information call Mark at 770-757-0480 On Oct-17-12 at 15:59:52 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE 17 Oct 12: My mechanic has reccesitated the motor and it now runs. The transmission linkage that was disconnected for towing has been reconnected. When the vehicle tipped, the oil flowed into the cylinders. He took the spark plugs out, and cranked the engine in which we were successful in giving the engine bay and garage a thorough oil bath. I imagine the engine will smoke heavily until all the oil is burned out. I guess if the windshield were replaced, the vehicle would be road worthy.
