Up for auction is a very nice numbers matching 1968 Corvette Roadster. This real red/red white top car has been the recipient of a very extensive restoration that includes:Complete Engine Rebuild that includes a mild cam - Complete Transmission Rebuild - no rattles, very tight linkage - Complete Front End Rebuild - See the pictures - Excellent paint, interior and Top - 5 new Red Line Biased Ply tires on 7 inch rims. I have no idea if the miles are correct or not. The title indicates that they are, you will have to be the judge. The air conditioning blows cold. The lights and wipers function as they should. All interior lights are working as well as the console lighting. The car drives excellent. It has recently had the oil changed and complete tune by our local NCRS judge. He has assured me that the block, heads, carburetors,transmission and rear end all match the car. We do not have a tank sticker (there is a new gas tank). I asked about the air conditioning and he is sure that the car came equipped with it. His comments were "you would be crazy to try to add factory air to a non air car. I wouldn't be worth the time and expense and it would look added on". That being said, I am told that the air conditioning is 100% correct with all lines, wiring, duct work, etc. in its proper place.
