Selling my daily driver 1998 Volvo S70 4 door sedan. Bought used 12/2004 with 103,000 miles. Currently has 258,000 miles and will have a little more each day as this is my daily use vehicle. This S70 has the 2.4 litre non-turbo engine and a 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The transmission does have sport/economy/winter settings. The exterior color is Onyx Gray, color code 427. The interior is dark gray leather, and the front bucket seats are heated. The driver's seat has power adjustment and memory settings for up to 3 positions, the passenger seat is manual. There is some wear damage to the driver's seat, as shown in the photos. Both front and rear seats are extremely comfortable, especially on long trips. There is a center armrest that folds down in the back seat, also providing a pass-through into the trunk. Also in the passenger area are Volvo wet/winter floor mats, which I chose to use year round. The good news: everything works! A/C ( dual zone automatic climate control ), seat heaters, AM/FM/CD/Cassette, daytime running lights, delay wipers, headlamp wipers ( only on when wipers on fast mode... ), rear defrost, electric tilt/slide sunroof, power door locks, power mirrors, traction control, ABS, cruise control, etc. Everything that should be working does. More good news: mechanically in excellent condition! Recent heater core replacement and coolant flush. Recent oil change, has had synthetic 10-w30 since I bought the car. Recent Mobil1 synthetic trans fluid flush, done every 70,000 miles since I bought it. Recent timing belt and water pump, both Volvo genuine parts. Most things you can ask about, I have had changed over the last two years. Brakes, battery, 4 tires ( Michelin ), radiator, hoses, drive belt, spark plugs, fuel pump and filter, all of it... This car has been my daily driver for years. There is a little rust on the very front lip of the hood, but that's about it. The underneath is clean and solid. No major dents or dings either. No check engine lights, never failed emissions. All of my service records and parts receipts come with the car, as well as a couple of spare items, and I will also include my Haynes mechanical guide book for the car. The car is located in Tinley Park, IL. I will gladly pick up the winning buyer at either O'Hare Airport ( ORD ), Midway Airport ( MDW ), Amtrak Joliet or Chicago, or the local Metra Rail station.
