Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 1969 convertible Karmann Ghia. I bought this at the beginning of the year hoping to finish what the previous owner had started. The sheet metal work is approx 65% complete and I have the other headlight bucket, right floor pan, and right channel. I also have two boxes of parts that the previous owner had removed. The hood, trunk lid, and doors have been removed, blasted, acid dipped, and expoxy primered according to the previous owner. The drivetrain is in the vehicle. These are worth a lot fully assembled. I was going to continue what the previous owner had started and create a roadster out of it. It has so much potential. $250.00 due within 24hrs of auction close and the rest due within 7 days or before shipping or pick-up. paypal will be accepted for the down payment and a certified check(with time to clear at the bank) or cash will be accepted at pickup.(Or before if shipping) I reserve the right to end the auction at any time because it is for sale locally. This is a true convertible but I do not have the top. I have also taken additional photos of the car and parts. They are at www.photobucket.com/1969ghia If you have no or low ebay purchase history please email first before bidding. Low history would be 10 or less. This is a relisting due to the purchaser not paying. Please don't bid unless you intend to purchase. Please review all pics and determine if this is a project for you. Thanks On Oct-07-12 at 22:39:17 PDT, seller added the following information: 1. It does have a clear title in my name. 2. It does not currently run but the engine rolls over and the steering works. (It ran when it was started on) 3. You will need a trailer or dolly to move it. 4. Please look at the pics provided. What you see is what you get. I took lots of pics to help questions. I will try and answer any other questions as best as I can but it is a project as stated above. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
