here's the story on this car. It's a working, driving, project car. It has spent the last five years in my garage and I've worked sparingly on the "fixer upper" that my wife bought me for my 40th birthday. I have decided to let her go due to lack of time and interest in the project. -My wife purchased the car locally for me in 2007 for $2500. -The cars service receipts show the car spent most of it's life in Las Vegas, NV -I bought a donor '77 z that had a complete interior and a very good low milage rebuilt engine -I swapped out the engine -I removed the 30 year old rotten carpet (have not replaced) -I replaced the windshield rubber seal -replaced all interior pieces with donor car parts -I sanded the car down to bare metal and is mostly painted with temporary primer to prevent surface rust. -I did cut out a few small areas of rust that have not been repaired (I didn't want to fill it with bondo, I will leave that choice to the next owner) The tires on the car are drivable but I wouldn't recommend long distance before having them replaced. Overall the car is in good condition, body is rust free, motor is low mileage. With some cosmetic attention and a little TLC this Z can be an outstanding car.
