Vehicle Detail
This is a Fantastic little car! My Mother bought this car from the orginal owner. My Mother babied this car until she past away in 2004.I inherited the car after her death. My wife drove the car approximately 2,000-3,000 miles a year until 2009. Then the car was driven recreationally. This Geo Metro Convertable has a new convertable top, sterio, tires and breaks. The 3 cylinder engine has been well maintained and runs GREAT! Even though this little car will really "Get up & Go" she still gets 40-45 mpg, even around town. The 4 speed manual transmission operates perfectly and shifs smoothly. No problems with the clutch, breaks, lights or alignment. The car rides and drives very smoothly, no shimy even at high speeds. Inspection is up to date. Unlike other small, gas saving cars, this Metro loves to go fast without compromising gas mileage. The problems with this Metro are cosmetic as the pictures show, with one exception. The passenger side "roof latch" is broken. These latches hold the Convertable top in place when the top is up. See picture. The car doesn't have a bit of rust. It has been kept in the GARAGE. There are some issues which the picturees will show. Someone hit the passenger side while it was parked at the grocery store. The side mirror was knocked off and a shallow but long dent was left in the door. The dash board and rubber moulding are cracked and show its age. The plastic peices that cover the roof when its down need to be fixed,"See Pictures" I tried to show the car in it's true condition, the good & bad. If not for these issues with the body the price would be higher. Im only selling this Metro to make room in the garage for our new car. Once you drive this car you'll love it Feel free to ask questions and I'll do my best to answer them.On Oct-09-12 at 09:29:02 PDT, seller added the following information: This is a Fantastic little car!
