Up for auction is my 1992 Honda Accord EX with 88,641miles on it. I bought this car about 2 years ago with plans of creating asleeper (stock appearing performance enhanced). I had a car just like this onewhen I was in high school and it was the reason I got into cars and became amechanic. The previous owners were an elderly Pennsylvania couple that rarelydrove the car and gave it to their son and he put it on ebay. I drove itregularly 40 miles every day while I was restoring it. Since purchasing the carI have put around 14,000 miles on it and during this time I have been slowlyrepairing and restoring it. These Hondas are very reliable and extremely fuelefficient. Unfortunately my financial situation has taken a severe turn for theworse and I no longer have the time or money to continue. The car has beensitting at my in laws house in their drive way outside for just over 7 months (anotherreason I have to sell it). Andhonestly speaking I’m hoping to get a little bit more for it, God knows I needit. Most sellers wouldn’t list all of the bad (with a buyer beware warning) asthis brings down the potential price and bidders at auction but I am a firmbeliever in karma and the philosophy of honestly being the best policy. I havebeen scammed before in the past so I know how it feels and I wouldn’t want tobe the cause of someone else’s anguish. I havelisted with the best of my ability all that I know for sure is wrong with thecar. This car is nowhere near being complete and does need much more TLC. Thecar runs and drives fine but the NYS inspection has expired and it has beensitting outside for about 7 months. This vehicle is also being sold locally and I reserve the right to end the auction suddenly if I receive a good offer for it.
