I am relisting this car and lowering the price and the time. Still NO RESERVE********************************************** I also reserve the right to end this auction early as it is posted on other media. **************** Updated picture of front end parts (grill, bumper, headlight parts)***************************** Up for bid is 1969 Rambler American 2 dr. It has no motor or tranny. In fact, this car is the definition of basic transportation. It never had power brakes, power steering or even a radio! The car is very solid with no rot. The floors, rockers and rear quarters are in great shape.I believe the mileage is accurate due the condition. The previous owner was going to make a rat rod out of it that why it's blue and brown. All sheet metal is solid. There is some surface rust, but nothing substantial. This car would be perfect to make a Rambler Scrambler clone out of. Or, an AMC V8 360 or 401 could be installed to make it a very solid rat rod. I have seen where some people even put in a small block chevy. Either way, it would go like a scalded dog since it only weighs only about 2600 lbs. I have the front bumper, grill and headlight buckets. The interior is all there but needs re-doing. The manual brakes work well and steering is pretty tight. I also have the front crossmember to convert the 6 cylinder motor mounts to a V8. Transportation would be the responsibility of the buyer. This is a "roller". There may be the possibility of delivery if you are located in or around the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Otherwise, bring a trailer.
