This is a 2005 Mazda RX-8 I purchsed from a body shop who had bought it at auction after the insurance company at the time had totaled it due to a right side accident. It was completely fixed and no signs of any damage on the car upon me purchasing it almost 2 years ago. The car had I believe 14,000 miles on it when it was totaled and now it has 76,000, so it is in good running condition. I bought it at 45,000 miles The body shop installed red lights in the interior and an aftermarket front clip and a $1,000 exhaust from just behind the factory exhaust manifold all the way back to the tips., it is large diameter and stainless. It has a cold air intake replacing the entire factory air filter box. It has low profile wide Yokohama tires on it now that have great tread life in them. The AC is cold and has been since I bought it. Everything works and the car gets better than factory mileage due to improved fluids in the Engine, Transmission, and Differential. I have a spare Yokohama with good tread life I am throwing in for free as well as a pair of rear shocks with springs and caps mounted ready to install if ever needed. The car has a few dents and scratches and the front end is fiberglass so it has a few cracks and a couple of spots where it needs a repair. Paint is good in all areas and car sounds great and is very fast. It is a Shinka edition, not sure what that means but it apears to have more value. I have taken this car on many trips and it drives good and handles good so no sign of any damage being fixed improperly. It has a salvage rebuilt title.
