Up for auction is my 2002 Ford Excursion Limited Diesel 4x4. Its a great truck that started its life in Texas, so she has not seen the Wisconsin winters before I bought it. The body is rust free, and the frame has very little along edges and such. All in all its a clean truck for its age, but has been driven. The majority of the miles on the truck are from highway driving, as I live almost 30 miles from work and used to drive weekly to the cabin at 320 miles round trip. She has one ton springs and Bilstien shocks, that give the truck a bit of height increase (about 1" - 1.5") but definitly improve ride and handling. It also increases the load and towing compacity, as well as allows one to mount a plow if need be. Its never had a plow on it but I have towed my 2 place snowmobile trailer, and she doesnt know its back there. I also have a Magnaflow stainless Turbo back exhaust upgrade, as well as pyrometer and boost gages. It also comes with the Diablo programmer to re-program the ecu. The programmer allows you to choose one of 5 preset tunes, or a custom tune can be uploaded via computer and programmed to the truck via the diablo programmer. I have always run the 60hp tune as I just like the firmer shifts and better fuel milage. I average 16 - 17 mpg, but the best was 19.8 mpg. If you can keep it under 60 on the highway the mileage will be closer to the 19 mark. She had the balljoints done with Moog greaseable ball joints about 30k ago at the same time all other loose parts were replaced. It has 2 new batterys and front brakes, but the tires only have one more winter on them. All in all its been a great truck with no letdowns, its had synthetic rotella since I have owned it and Royal purple ATF. I just do not need this big of a truck any longer.
