Project Car: 1971 plymouth barracuda. originally a 6- cylinder car with manual transmission. That is gone now! k- member looks like a v-8. it has been painted and the other front suspaenion things look painte and newer. has 8 3/4 rear in it without the third member( center chunk). looks like new leaf springs The good news is that whatever rust was here is gone , but the body person was not exactly auditioning for a spot on "overhaulin" new trunk floor , new taillamp panel, floors look like they have been replaced. And actually the good sytle frame connectors are in!!! The cowl is new, along with the inner fenders. the outer fenders are 1970 style fiberglass crap. The quarters are new also. someone did not fininish the wheel wells. I have the 71 headlight buckets, and all the window stainless. some pieces dented though. The roof has been replaced, someone grafted a complete roof from another car rust free. DUTCHMAN IS NEW OR JUST RUST FREE? i have rear window and both right side windows, Also have the blue interior pieces, door panels, quarter trim,window trims, blue console. Steering column is complete even with the key . Both bumpers are there and need rechromed, front brackets are there also. Gas tank is inside car,front 70 lower vance is there and rust free I have a clear title to it from new jersey, according to the last owner ,the vin plate was on the dash pad laying in the car and now it is gone??? There is no vin plate . the cowl is new so I do not have factory stampings to go from on that either. I do not know how or where to get one. That is all I know about this car .
