The sale of this car has twice fallen victim to the "EBAY/PAYPAL Oceanographer" scam. Google it for more details. DON'T BID UNLESS YOU WANT TO OWN THE CAR! This car is the nicest 2002 I've ever seen on EBAY, winning the "Best in Class" at the 2006 Milwaukee World of Wheels auto show! Car came from California and was stripped of all glass, interior doors, trunk, engine and transmission. Paint was stripped revealing an exceptionally rust free body (see pictures). Paint work was done to show car level in original BMW Malaga Red color. Engine was rebuilt with JE 9.8:1 compression pistons, a 292 grind camshaft, complete balancing, performance stainless valves and improved springs, 320-i induction manifold with 318-i fuel injection system. The cam is one that enhanced engine performance while maintaining comfortable street driving RPM power ranges. Air conditioner was installed, new AC blower and heater blower, evaporator and condenser were flushed and tested--blows real cold. Tires are 205/55 15's, suspension is stock--new shocks, strusts, etc. Rebuilt 5 speed transmission, new driveshaft, posi rear differential conversion, big brake. . .kit-vented rotors, larger rear drums and cylinders, stainless braded brake and clutch lines, power window conversion and remote door locks. Dash is a perfect one from a Tii. Composite headlights, battery relocated to trunk and a great remote CD player provide the finishing touches. Minor cracking on the drivers seat and a few small scratches on the front chrome bumper. All work was completed in 2005 and the car has been driven only a few miles since completion.
