This Jaguar MKX9 has to be one of the most original cars in existence...Sold new in Boston, Mass. in 1961 to customer in Newburyport Mass., it was then gifted to one of there employees in the 70s..The car is totally original with only 30.000miles from new.. The car was always garaged and it shows, the body of the car is rust free...the only spot that I can find on the car is the bottom of the spare wheel well...the rest of the car is absoutely perfect...all the chrome is complete and in very nice condition...I cleaned up a few sections and it cleans up really well...The paint is original to the car and is faded in spots, especially the roof..the body however is excellent..perfect panel gaps, no dings or dents ..the glass is also original and perfect..the rubber seals are all dried out though..The sunroof opens and closes just as it should The interior is original red leather,,seats are very nice . there is one small section on the rear seat that is damaged and will need repair...the wood is complete and very nice..all original gauges etc..door panels are perfect....the original tool kits of still in there door pockets.. original keys still operate the locking glove boxes and door locks...even the original cigar lighters are still in the door pilars...rear wood trays , clock and glove box are all perfect....the headliner is poor and will need to be replaced...same goes for the carpet...in the boot area all the original panels are intact , original Jack still in its cradle I have not yet tried to start the car...under the bonnett the car looks totally original, all the old decals ar still there...plug wires still have the original jacket to the plugs..I have no doubt that the car will run..it was driven into the garage 30 years ago The car can be inspected at my home at any time with proper notice...you can email me or call direct..603 997 9586
