1951 Chevy DeLuxe all original body No rust ever! 29274 original miles I purchased this car from a 71 year old gentleman and at the time of purchase I enjoyed sitting with him having coffee as he gave me the detailed history on this car,He had always wanted to build a Streetrod so he searched for many years to find a near perfect low mileage car to start the project and finally in 2006 he had found the perfect car This 1951 Chevy 2 door DeLuxe that had at the time 26105 original miles with absolutely no rust and perfect chrome and trim the car now has 29274 miles and 3169 miles on the restoration He then hired out the build to a professional restoration expert with 40 years in the buisness,and let me tell you He did this car correct and no exspense was spared! they removed the original drivetrain and suspension,Thus replacing it with all top of the line brand new parts,the front suspension is a Mustang II coil spring suspension tubular A-Arms with disc brakes and rack and pinion steering the rear is an 8.8 rear end with leaf spring suspension with traction bars and 3:73 gears with positive traction differential all from chassis engineering inc. then they added a 350 crate motor from competition engineering products located in Wisconsin with an Elgin camshaft 480 lift on intake and exhaust then added world product cast iron heads from World castings in Rokonkoma,NY with 280 intake and exhaust,then topped it off with a polished high rise alum intake and Holley street avenger dual feed carb,then added a set of march pulleys alum finned valve covers and air cleaner and braided hoses... and it has an estimated 375 HP,then to let it breathe they put on a set of ceramic coated headers with a 2 1/2 inch tuned exhaust with flowmaster mufflers all the way out the rear,and to keep the beast nice and cool added a perma-Cool radiator and electric fan and yes the fans is on a temperture control unit and turns on and off as it should when needed....then they backed that up with a crate 350TH transmission with shift kit the entire car was Rewired with an E-Z wiring Kit from front to back,then on to the interior, completely redone from front to back and then a Flaming River steering column was added with tilt wheel and a beautiful Grant wheel as you can see the dash needed nothing and retains it's original paint perfect condition chrome and perfect condition original knobs the exterior of the car retains it's original paint with just a couple of touch ups and just enough patina to give it a perfect Look {just my personal opinion} as stated before all the chrome and trim are original and in absolutely stunning condition,and a nice set of chrome reverse baby moons rims were added 15x8 rear and 15x7 front wrapped in new medium whitwall radials I thing it gives the car a perfect stance.The underside of this car is just as beautiful as the top and again this car has NEVER had any rust or repairs so to sum it all up you have a stock looking 1951 Chevy with a Streetrod drivetrain that will surprise a lot of people !! and this car drives and handles just as nice if not better than a new car,and it's a car that you can get in and go on them long trips without an issue please feel free to call me with any questions you have or to make an appointment to inspect the car or have your mechanic,appraiser or third party come and inspect it for you I urge you to have an inspection and assure you will not be dissapointed 989-435-3596 or if you would like to make a buy it now offer call me I can always ad a buy it now to the auction don't be shy and don't miss out this car is for sale locally and I do reserve the right to end auction at anytime...want to fly in and drive it home?
