WELCOME TO MY 1960 PORSCHE 356B SUPER 1600 i am selling our 1960 porsche 356b super 1600. my grandmother bought this car in 1977. she bought it from the original owner. his name was James Catterall we still have the original bill of sale when she paid for it. in 1977. and she always kept up with the car. we have all service records and we still have the original owners manual . the car runs really good. and shifts very smootly. this was my grandmother daily driver. every thing is in great working condition. and the engine is the correct . 1960 super 1600 engine . The color code on the car is 738. i beleive it was original ivory. but my grandmother completely restored it in the late 90s. we have all receipts and documents stating what was done on it. she repainted yellow but everything else was done original. the paint still looks very nice. but has some small bubbles in the fender. the interior is in good shape. and the carpet is good also. it is going to need new floor pans. car handles very good on turns. and bumps. nice and safe. this little banana been in northern california for most of its life. it has been a great car for us. and it is very fun to drive. the car gets a whole lot of intention every where we go whit the car. and it has. am fm radio that was a option in 1960. and yes it still works. this car was in the movie foul play it was on the set. of the back round. the movie was staring Chevy Chase and Goldie Hawn. and was also on the set of Star Wars part 2 the Empire Stikes back. and part 3 The Return of the Jedi grandmother Gretta Hicks was friends with George Lucas thats how the car got famous. but. dont worry the car did not get hurt in any of those films look down to see videos THIS BEAUTY IS GOING FOR A FIVE DAY AUCTION WITH A LOW RESERVE.
