The mileage is unknown based on her age. However, her condition and driving capabilities resemble the mileage shown on the speedometer of just 43k. I am the second owner, and the original owner stated that the mileage was accurate. This Spitfire is highly presentable, and is a reliable driver. She maneuvers down the roads with ease and is a blast to drive! Please read the description below to further appreciate this amazing Spitfire. All of the body lines and shut lines are even and straight. The Spitfire was repainted last week and is very presentable. The are no dents, dings or scratches anywhere. The paint is the original color matching the paint code, with a hint of metallic, to add some vibrancy. The floor pans, trunk pans, and interior bonnet, all show the original paint color! The glass is in good shape. The chrome is presentable, and the rubber on the body is great. INTERIOR: The interior was upgraded to a leather interior by the original owner. The interior has also been upgraded with a new Pioneer CD player, with remote. The interior also includes two new Alpine 6x9 speakers, in carpeted boxes behind the seats. The leather is presentable and adds character to the Spitfire. The upper dash pad is very presentable and is has no cracks from the sun. The wood dash is nice and presentable. If I was to keep the car, I would stain the wood dash, and add a clear coat, to highlight the interior. The carpet is in okay shape and is useable. In the future, I would change the carpet to highlight the beauty of the interior. The top is new and is very presentable as you would expect. The Spitfire also includes an original boot and an original tonneau cover that are very presentable. MECHANICAL: This Spitfire is an accelerating driver. The exhaust is upgraded to a Triumph Spitfire quad exhaust system. This exhaust system hits some nice notes during spirited driving sessions. New tires have been installed less than 100 miles ago. The tire warranty carries over to the new owner. A new racing battery was installed less than a week ago. New engine mounts have been installed this month. A new valve cover and gasket have been installed. A new oil pan gasket has been installed. A new coil has been installed. A new belt, plugs, and wires have also been installed this month. The smog pump was removed, to add a little more power. The pump will come with the car at the buyer’s request, but is not needed, as it eats power. The front wheel bearings are new and so are the tie rods. The front brake calipers and pads are also new. The gearbox shifts smoothly and the engine idles perfect. The running temperature is perfect as well. The alignment is perfect also. I have owned several Spitfires this year, and this one is very reliable, and also a blast to drive.
