Vehicle Detail

2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon No reserve!!! Unfortunately the time has come that I have to part with my Rubicon. If you're not familiar with the capabilities of these vehicles, lets just say you'll have the ability to make mountain goats jealous. The Rubicon is one of, if not, the most off-road capable production vehicle ever made. Mine has only had upgrades to improve on that. I'll get to the good stuff and give you a rundown of all the highlights, and a few low, that I can think of: Highlights (approximate values in parentheses) 76,400 miles (that's less than 10K per year)Nth degree 6" long arm lift kit ($3500, not including installation)JKS adjustable track bar ($175)JKS sway bar quick disconnects ($75)Dick Cepek 15x8 wheels ($600)35x12.50 Kelly Safari tires, two 90%, two 60% ($800)Bilsteen 5150 shocks, front and rear ($600)K&N air intake ($250)KC slimlights ($200)Drilled and slotted brake rotors with upgraded pads on front and rear ($500)Spray bedlined interior tub ($500)Jensen in dash DVD, Navigation head unit ($500)Alpine speakers in sound bar, dash, and center console ($400)New OEM fender flares ($200)Flowmaster exhaust system ($200) Lowlights Trackbar bushing is getting pretty worn causing some wobble at 37-42 mph. Common problem with lifted jeeps, and not a hard fix. It's pretty smooth at all other speeds though. The Bestop Trektop is not in the best cosmetic condition, it is 100% functional though. The tailgate is bent a little from an off-road incident by a previous owner. The spare tire carrier is homebuilt and should probably be replaced or "beefed up".There are 2 very small chips in the windshield, they are repairable. That's about everything I can think of at the moment. It's a great jeep, it has been used for what it's intended for though. It has some bumps and bruises, but is by no means beat up. If you bid expecting it to be showroom new, well it's not... so don't. If you have questions about the condition, or anything else, just ask. I will answer any and all. The only thing I ask is that you not ask me to end the auction early. I am an ebay purist, I am listing it for a week with no reserve and the new owner will be the one with the highest bid at the end of the week. It is not being advertised locally, so nothing to worry about there. So, if you send me an offer you will only be wasting my time and yours. Thank you for stopping to take a look, and good luck to all those who bid. On Sep-22-12 at 02:48:23 PDT, seller added the following information:I've had several questions about the jeep and have tried to post all of the questions and answers in the listing so everyone could see, but I noticed that some of them were not on there for some reason so I thought I'd consolidate everything here. I'll try to remember everything, but if I forget anything I'm sorry. Mechanically everything works exactly the way it should, the AC blows cold and the heat can cook food. I do have a CLEAN title (not salvage) in hand, no leins or anything like that. As far as the accident it had, I only know what the previous owner told me. It happened just before I bought it, the passenger front fender and hood were replaced with new parts. The paintwork is not perfect, but neither is the rest of the jeep, I would call it good. It matches perfectly, but has some imperfectons upon closer inspection. The rest of the body is about the same. The only body damage on the jeep is a couple small dents on the windshield channel beside the windshield on the passenger side, and a dent on the back passenger corner which is covered by the corner guard. The jeep is located in Joplin, MO. If you want to fly into Joplin and drive it home I will have it waiting on you at the airport. I wouldn't hesitate one bit to drive it cross country. I think that about covers all of the questions. I do feel like having a little fun with it though (maybe because it's 4:30 in the morning and I'm about to walk out in the woods for the first time this year), but how about this... If the biddng makes it to the KBB private party excellent value, which is about $16,200, I'll buy the new owner a new Besttop Trektop NX soft top! I'll even go one step farther, if it makes the KBB retail value (about $18,300) I'll locate and spring for a hard top! Keep in mind, those are KBB values on a "stock" Rubicon, not one with almost 10K in upgrades. As always, if you have any questions just let me know. Thanks, and good luck!
