Up for auction is an orig drive line out of my fathers 1974 L code Dodge Challenger. He rolled the vehicle and totaled it back in 1979 at the time there was 35687 original miles on the car, he bought the car back from the insurance company, back then you could do that, any way the vehicle was disassembled with the intention of rebuilding it which never happened. My father gave me the engine and transmission back in 1998 before he passed. I had planned on putting this set up in my 1972 Dart but I just cant bear to change the originality of my car, so that been said I have decided to sell the complete set up, the discription is as follows. 1974 360 HP all original engine right down to the original factory plastic bowl thermoquad, The motor has 35687 original miles I have disassembled and reassembled with all the original parts with the exception of a Billit Crower Cam, a custom oil pump that was balanced and blueprinted from precision pumps in northern CA , Comp chrome molly push rods and Comp billit timing gear. The transmission is the orignal 727 HD Torque Flight that has been gone through and checked out perfect. The engine will also come with TTI headers which are brand new as well as both typs of engine mounts the originals as well as a set of Schmaucher custom mounts to put the engine in a slant six K member which is what my dart is.
