1982 BMW 633 CSI up for auction. This car would be a great candidate for restoration or as a parts car for another restoration. The car runs and drives without issues and is completely roadworthy. The tires are alsmost new with about 5 thousand miles on them. The battery was replaced at the same time, The engine starts without any problems and it runs perfectly. The car has a rare 5 speed Getrag manual transmission which also works perefctly. The car was maintained meticulously by a college professor for many years and I have all of the recipts for work done on the car since 1983. He had the local dealership install a factory made BMW CB radio. It still works and I'm sure is an extremely rare option. The body is starting to show rust around the wheels well areas and the paint is original so it does have blemishes. The car is known for problems with the electrical system and this one is no different. I have had all of the electicalyy controlled assecories working like the sunroof, power locks, windows, radio, fan blower but occasionnally one will stop working because of loss of ground or loose fuse. It is a common problem with these cars and especially with the age. This car has a clean leather interior showing some wear and nice heavy wool carpeting.
