Hello- I've owned the Honda for less than a year. I had planned on keeping it, but then I found a smaller motorcyle that would better serve my needs. This Honda appears to be mostly original except for the mirrors. I have ridden it around the cul de sac where I live in Santa Rosa, and it starts up with a few kicks and shifts and downshifts through all of the gears smoothly. If I were to ride it on a regular basis, then this is what I would do to it: 1) I would tune it up (plugs, wires, adjust carb). Even though it runs good, it probably has not been tuned up for a long time. It shifts nicely up and down through all of the gears. 2) Tires...They have plenty of tread on them, but they look old and probably are. If I was riding this every day, then I would probably want new tires on it for peace of mind...I would really not like to have a blowout on one of the tires. 3) Replace the fork seals...This is really the most pressing issue. They leak oil. The motorcycle shows 12, 232 on the odometer. I would guess this is original...the odometer and tach work fine. The electric start does not work (if it had one), and the high headlight beam does not work. There is some surface rust on some of the metal, but some fine steel wool and polishing would do wonders. The owner before me did not ride it often and it sat in his garage. Thanks for your interest and pls let me know if you have any other questions.
