For auction today is an 1970 F-250 2wd auto Ranger Camper Special. A southern truck from Mississippi. Duel exhaust with Turbo mufflers. Comes with a set of coated headers that came with the truck. Rebuilt 390 with a mild Comp cam, New 750 Edelbrock carb, Aluminum Edelbrock intake manifold, Heads rebuilt with hardened seat valves, New Edelbrock black powder coated air cleaner and valve covers, New Champion battery, rebuilt C-6 transmission, New fuel pump, New coil, New Drag link and ball joints, New windshield and mirror, new antenna, has factory AC with all the components intact needs belt and charged to work? Dealer installed spot light for park ranger? I have $5000 + invested in motor, transmission, parts and labor alone. Tires need to be replaced they are small for the truck 215/60/16 makes the speedometer off by a few mph. Rims are 8 lug. I Have all reciepts! Thats the good the not so good I cant seem to get the carb adjusted right starts great and while choke is still set drives good but when driving down the road slight hesitation. once up to speed cruises down the road. I am not a mechanic and dont pretend to be! my loss is your gain! I live in a small community in Northern NY. The truck is on the road and inspected. This truck has a lot of potential. Also a set of four original 1970 truck Ford shop manuals. The mileage is just a guess?? with the smaller tires makes it not very accurate so the mileage I am sure has rolled over.
