1985 CJ7 Renegade Model Jeep with 33,750 original miles. Unfortunately, it is a 3rd vehicle for me and so it doesn't get the time on (or off) the road that it deserves, so its time to downsize my vehicles. The engine is an original Jeep AMC 4 cylinder, with a manual transmission and matching #'s. Everything under the hood is in good mechanical order, and it runs very well, especially given its classic status. I make sure to drive it often, to keep it up and fresh. The Jeep has all of its original parts as I can tell, with the exception of the seats which are in new and in excellent shape and the upgraded sound system, CD player and upgraded front floor and rear speakers. Below CD player is 12V plug in for camping, etc. All of the instruments work on the dash with the exception of the clock. It also is lifted to accomodate the larger tires but I am unsure how much or how many inches, because this was done before I purchased the Jeep. The wheels are chrome with slight amount of small rust nearest the hub and the tires are Kelly ATs (All-Terain) with plenty of life left in them. These tires are excellent both on and off the road. The paint is not original and was not painted when I owned it, however it is a camoflauge color, and the original paint color is white. There is a little rust on the back panel but could be removed or sanded very easily. With a new coat of paint and some polishing this Jeep would be a great one to restore and look brand new. The Jeep has rear bench seat and a middle console that is removable. Jeep has 2 black/white interior full metal doors with detachable uppers. There is both a matching bikini top and a hard top for this jeep. The rear hatch door and window open and close very easily and all the hatches, door locks, windows, lights, turn signals, seat belts etc are in working order. This Jeep has a clear title, and the miles are correct, original, and very low for its age. This would be a great Jeep to RESTORE. Shipping: The buyer must arrange for pickup or shipping of the vehicle. I am happy to accommodate any requests the best I am able, but the responsibility is ultimately the buyer's to ensure proper pickup or delivery. Payment: A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 USD will be due via Paypal within 24 hours of the auction end in order to ensure performance. The remaining balance being due within 7 days of the end of the auction. Acceptable methods of payment are cash on pickup, wire transfer, or Certified Cashiers Check (transfer pending clearance). The Jeep is being sold as-is, where is, with no express or implied warranties. Seller reserves the right to end the auction due to local listing. All sales are final.
