This is a no reserve auction, bid to win! Up for auction is one cool, rare 63 1/2 500 fastback. This car has some great lines and classic styling. I purchased her two years ago with a running 302 and a bad C4 transmission. It is 95% complete in my opinion, the only things I can think of that are missing are the carpet, headliner, a piece of trim around the rear window, and one wheel cover. There might be a couple minor things I'm forgetting but all in all a pretty complete, original car. This vehicle does have a New York transferable registration. This Galaxie was originally a 289/cruise-o-matic car, there is currently no engine or trans in the vehicle but two early 70's 302's with C4 transmissions come with the car if the buyer would like them. One C4 is known to be bad, the second one was never tested. The 302 that was removed from the vehicle ran but had a decent rear main oil seal leak. Second 302 has freshly rebuilt heads and a mild cam according to the person I purchased it from. Both engines are partially disassembled and were in the process of being freshened. I have no idea of the condition of the 9" rear axle as I never had a chance to drive the vehicle. This vehicle was on the road until approximately 12 years ago, she's been sitting under a car port since then. This was my project and I was in the process of restoring it with my Dad. They recently decided to move, so along with that goes my storage and working partner. I hate to see her go but really have no choice. This obviously needs full restoration, body isn't too bad considering the age, some rot and bondo here and there. It needs floor pans front & back and a trunk floor pan.The glass is all good, no cracks or hazing. The frame is very sound, a few spots under the passenger compartment will need minor patching. All are in the straightest section of the frame though. I included a pic of the worst spot. All parts removed so far were carefully bagged & tagged, we took our time during disassembly. Car is listed for sale locally, I reserve the right to end the auction early. A $500 deposit MUST be made through PayPal within 3 days of auction end. I reserve the right to cancel the sale and re-list if payment or arrangements haven't been made. The balance of the sale MUST be paid in cash at the time of pick up. Buyer must make arrangements to pick up/ ship the vehicle within a reasonable amount of time, this is sold as-is/where-is. This will obviously need to be towed to its new home. Buyer will also need to make arrangements to pick up engines if they desire them. I'm easy to work with, all I ask for is communication. Remember, the highest bidder wins this vehicle!
