This rare diesel W140 is one of the nicest you will ever come across. It is a Florida/South Georgia only car. You find any rust anywhere on this car. NO ACCIDENTS. Super clean high score car fax. The carfax says 6 owners but it was only 2. I am the second owner. I bought it out of an estate. This is a car that has books and records and a large number of receipts. This is my second W140 Diesel and I have never had any serious issues with these fine cars. The last one I had went to 140k miles and I sold it back in 1999 for $24k dollars with more miles and not as nice as this one. It has had all the common and expensive repairs done. It has a complete new A/C with evaporator and I will say it is extremely cold. I can't run the thermostat below 75 degrees. I just had the Bose amp refurbished and the stereo sounds great. It has the optional trunk mounted CD changer. I also recently replaced the antenna. I took it in for a complete look over and major service in the last 300 miles. They replaced all the motor and tranny mounts($1000) and had the brake fluid change also. I am not aware of any service needs. Wife wants a newer car so thats whats she gets. It rides very smooth with the new Michelin X radials with warranty on like new 97 S-Class rims. Tires have maybe 2000 miles. There are no noticeable flaws or marks of any kind anywhere on it. It does a few very small and I mean small scratches that were touched up you will find difficult to notice. The paint is nearly 20 years old but is very nice. It is not perfect but it is a rare exceptional condition car. There are only a few small dings on the roof from maybe an acorn and besides that you wont find any dings, dents, etc. Pics wont show these insignificant flaws. It is amazingly difficult to run across one of these this nice and relatively undriven. The interior is outstanding, with no wear or stains. The rims have no curb rash and still shine as new. No leaks, no squeaks, no issues anywhere. No salt southern clean bottom. This car has been meticulously preserved in a garage under a fitted cover. I have many of the original papers and receipts. As with all used collector cars they are sold as is and there is no warranty expressed or implied.
