About 7 months ago a switched to SLK. I have no reason to keep two similar cars so, unfortunately, TT has to go. She is my beauty and she treated me well. Now she needs a new master. This car has numerous upgrades, greatly improving performance and handling, I spent hours and hours putting all these things together, tuning it all up. Comes with second set of wheels/tires (original TT) All pictures are at the bottom of this listing Technical information: Car is a 2001 Audi TT FWD convertible; It has performance Bilstein suspension installed (in 2011). Most of the suspension components were replaced as well at a time. Car seat very low. HANDLES like a DREAM. Car has a water/meth injection kit installed. This is a quality kit (snow performance) installed by local shop (Further performance). It helps with cooling, increases MPG greatly and dramatically increases performance. Washer fluid tank is used. You can use meth or regular washer fluid (winter fluid contains about 3% meth). You can fine tune using supplied controller. Car feels like it being driven in Miami, Florida not Minnesota. ECU is reprogrammed with (APR) custom coding After market wheels installed - much lighter then stock and they look awesome too - aggressive spacers installed (don't remember exact offset). I STILL HAVE STOCK WHEELS AND THEY ARE PART OF THE DEAL APR piping installed all around - intercooler, turbo intake pipe e.t.c. This stuff will hold to a lot more pressure then the turbo can produce. Gives much smoother throttle response as well Lots of other upgrades all around - thermo gasket on manifold, silicon lines, APR fully serviceable diverter valve, redone crankcase ventilation system and many more I replaced factory audio head with upgraded unit. (Comes with the code) APR diverter, high performance coils, FMIC, Test Pipe and dozen other things I don't remember … Car has 174.000 orinal, true miles which is, believe it or not, better then 100k and much better then 70k as all chronic problems were fixed and the car was on the road and routinely maintained.Clear title, no accidents Everything works fine. Lights, AC, central locking ... Maintenance and repair: Maintained primarily by Further Performance of Minneapolis. This is a specialized shop that only works on Audi / WW. They did many project on my Audis and I never ran into a BS with them. All oil changes were done on time. Big filters and Mobil 1 was used exclusively; Sparks and coils were replaced multiple times through my ownership. Current set is a bout 4k miles old. Car treated me well, ever had any major issues. Following was done aside from routine maintenance: Steering rack replaced along with all hydraulic lines and the pump. Less then 2000 miles ago. Job performed by Further Performance and rack/pump still should be covered by warranty. Ignition switch replaced less then 2000 miles ago. Job performed by the same shop. Timing belt (pump, belts and whatever else comes with it) had been when I purchased the car. Upgraded kit was used (metal pump, better tensioner e.t.c.) Fuel filter changed Breaks changed mid 2011 Radiator changed mid 2011 This is all about I can think of … Upcoming maintenance: You should probably change timing belt some time soon … I usually do it when I buy a car but up to 200k should last. May need from suspension tune up. It got noisy after staring for a while Otherwise really needs nothing Issues: Issues are cosmetical and a pretty much common for this car. Body has several dings, starches here and there. Check out pictures. Nothing really significant.One particular spot appears loosely repaired. Thats the way I got it Wind shield won't go up or down. I locked it as high as I could. It won't affect convertible openability. To fix it you would have to replace a drive belt. I figured it is not really important and never got into it Instrument cluster has following issues: center screen has missing lines whens its hot, tach is off by approximately one inch and fuel gauge may become erratic after first half of a tank. All these issues are common for this car and well documented on forums. There are companies who can repair it for around $200; I also figures i would rather live with it. Glove compartment lock is broken. I had to nail it down to keep it closed. It can be replaced for around 100 bucks, maybe cheaper. It is possible just to fix it too (some glue work>>>) Thats all I could think of. Sale: I don't really mind keeping this car, preserving it for the future. But, I would rather put the money into something else … I will consider all offers. I can assist with shipping if you choose one. I can meet you at the airport.
