Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 This is my pride and joy 2003 TDI Voltswagon Jetta with Golden Fuel System’s straight vegetable oil conversion professionally installed by Full Circle Fuel. The only reason I’m selling this car is because I broke my left shoulder and right wrist in a ATV crash, and can’t drive a manual anymore. Don't let the miles fool you. This car have been well taken care of and runs perfect. The diesels are know to get 400/500K miles. The interior is in great condition with no rips or stains except for a small place in the carpet under the drivers side mat you can't even see without the mats removed and the cut for the spare tire that had to be added for the vegetable oil tank. The exterior is in very good condition with a few small dents and dings here and there but as you can see from the photos it's a great looking car. In addition to the vegetable oil conversion, I've added headlights, weather tech mats, window deflectors, skylight deflector, and a Pioneer radio. If you’re not familiar with the vegetable oil conversions it is the best one out there made by Golden Fuel Systems that allows you to run on free vegetable oil you get from restaurants or wherever. The few places I collected from were thrilled because they use to have to pay to get rid of it so it was a win win for both of us. The diesel engine was originally invented running on peanut oil, until the big oil companies got involved and came up with diesel. The factory diesel tank is 13 gallons and the vegetable oil tank in the back is 12 gallons and there’s a switch on the dash that allows you to choose what fuel source you want to run off of. The added gauges show you the vegetable oil fuel level and the vacuum pressure gauge shows when the diesel fuel filter or vegetable oil filter needs to be changed. I only had to change mine once a year. Cost $8 bucks for the filter. You don’t need to treat the vegetable oil or do anything to it before putting it in the tank. I did pour mine thru a funnel with a screen to catch any bits to make my filter last longer but that’s up to you. With a little research you will find the 2003 manual Jetta Wagons have the best motor, get the most MPG, and are the best year for the vegetable oil conversion. The oil companies got wise and the newer diesel vehicle computers will detect if you are running on something other then diesel and either run rough, or give you all kinds of error codes. I normally get around 45 MPG around home and work. The best I’ve gotten is 54 MPG. It gets the same MPG on diesel and vegetable oil. Runs, sounds, drives, etc. exactly the same on either fuel.
