This Blue 1985 has most of the restoration complete on the inside (8 out of 10 on interior). Has custom cloth Dash Cover and underneath isnt that bad. Door panels in excellent condition. Seats in fair condition, light cracking on front, backs really nice. Good Body, one small rust spot in the typical location (driverside rear side window), about 1" diameter, easy fix. Drivers fender has been replaced and it is a little different shade of blue and also has one place where paint came off (poor priming job, about 8" diameter, but no rust). This one has the same issues with the blower as many 928's, it wont come on. So I dont know if it is a short or if it is a bad blower motor. The motor runs strong. Front drivers lifter (1) ticks a bit, should only need slight adjustment. Has electric cooling fan installed inplace of OEM belt driven fan. Automatic Transmission shifts strong. Will smoke tires until you let off the gas. The bad... Windshield cracked and sounds like torque tube bearing needs replaced(light "moan" is best way to describe it). Bearing is not expensive but takes some time to do it. Miles at 75k but I doubt that this is correct. Title check has three pages of information. Some good, some bad. It shows rebuilt back years ago but besides fender being replaced and slight off on shade and paint flake in one spot, it looks completely intact and not "twisted" as many rebuilts are. I drive it frequently and it runs strong. Just noticed that one of the chrome rims has flaked plating. With the "Buy it Now" Price, I will throw in a set of nice Phone Dial rims. I have not changed the timing belt nor water pump. When speaking to the owner before me, he had not changed it either. He had purchased it as a family toy but the car sat in the garage most of the time and was rarely driven. One would assume that when the electric fan was put on, the pump or timing belt may have been changed, but there is no knowledge nor evidence of this. I have not pulled the cover to check the production date on the belt. If I had changed the belt and pump, the reserve and buy it now would both be much higher.
