Vehicle Detail
1979 Ford Bronco Custom - 70k on rebuilt Winsor 400This was my daily driver for 3 years in Phoenix AZ.I moved to San Diego and cant get it registered without jumping through a bunch of hoops to do it so its time for it to go. The Good:About 70k on a rebuilt motor (shop in Phoenix)100% mechanically sound, no engine / drive train / electrical problems at all.Engine is a Winsor 400 V8Cold A/C (Daily driver in AZ...)Eddelbrock 600CFM carbEddelbrock Intake manafoldMSD Off-Road Ignition with Accell coilMSD DistributorSilvana Silver replacement headlightsNew door sealsNon-leaking shellTow hitchWorking rear window (broken on allot of these old broncos)New heater core7k on new front brake rotors7k on pads (front / rear) The Bad:Body could use some work: Driver side fender is bent (I side swiped one of those poles backing out of a parking space) Front bumper is bent (Same from above..) Driver side above the tail light has a dent (Came out of a friends house to find this one.. Needs to be pulled as it pinches the rear tailgate) Passenger side, bottom of the tailgate has a little rust since we moved to SD. I gave it a once over and that it the ONLY place that has rust. This is also a common problem spot.)No glove boxFront seats could be re-upholstered or seat cover put on.Needs a batteryBasic tuneup since it has been sitting. That's it. As the above says it was my daily driver in AZ and as such I kept it is good running condition. It looks a little rough around the edges, but is a solid Bronco. It has never been on anything but some dirt roads in Phoenix or some forest roads when the family went camping. Nothing crazy at all.It revs fast and has lots of torque, a blast to drive! You will need to make pickup arrangementsBronco only needs a battery and gas to drive away! Let me know if there are any questionsGood Luck!
