Vehicle Detail

For sale is my 1987 Buick Grand National with astroroof. I have owned this vehicle for about 5 years. It has always been garage-kept and I have only put about 2000 miles on the car since owning it (this is my main resaon for selling the car). I am only the 3rd owner of this vehicle, and there is no evidence of this car ever having been in an accident. EXTERIOR: The exterior is in very nice condition. There are no major flaws in the paint and no dings. There is some light checking on the rear bumper fillers (which is common). The front bumper fillers have just been replaced and are in perfect condition. The wheels are also in good shape with no pitting. Tires front and back are reasonably new. Overall, the exterior of this vehicle is in really nice shape for its age. INTERIOR: The interior of the vehicle is also in good shape, especially considering the age. The driver's side front seat had a small hole (from wear) that was stitched and is now barely noticeable. The rest of the seats, as well as the carpets and door panels also look good with no major imperfections. The door pull cap on the driver's side is cracked (another common issue with these cars), and the headliner is in good shape. The trunk has no rust or rot, and the A/C still blows cold! DRIVE TRAIN: The motor is pretty much stock from the factory with the exception of an aftermarket computer chip which was installed by the previous owner (I have the original chip and will include it in the purchase). I have replaced the following parts: crank position sensor, throttle position sensor, O2 sensor, idle air control sensor, coil pack, ignition module, plugs & wires, fuel pump, and the gas tank. The transmission was rebuilt in the 1990's by the previous owner (I have receipts) and still shifts nice and hard. I have recently replace all the aforementioned parts in response to a problem with a noticeable hesitation from a standing start. The hesitation goes away under throttle, and I have had several people tell me that the mass air flow sensor is the problem. To be honest, I don't have the time or energy to fool around with the car any more (this is also why I have set the reserve quite low for this car). If you look around at what else is out there, I bet you won't find a cleaner GN for the price I'm asking! Not to mention this is an ASTROROOF car...hard to find. I have the factory build sheet for this car that I will include with the sale. I hope to have covered everything, and my goal is to accurately represent the vehicle. Overall, this is a REALLY NICE car that just needs a new home. If you have any questions, I am happy to correspond via e-mail or by phone (send me a message with your phone # and I will gladly call to talk with you about any concerns you may have). I am glad to help arrange the scheduling of pick-up for delivery, although all shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
