This vechicle is my every day driver, I drive 86 miles round trip every day to work and back home. This has no engine lights on and still runs half way decent, Cold A/C, all 4 new shocks, new front tires, all around brake job, new shocks, new A/C dryer, radiator was replaced a year ago, new thermostat, new fuel pump, new 5 year warrenty Alternator, rear tires have over 60% tread on them, all rims match and have center caps, new hood and rear tail gate support shocks, recently tuned up, new spark plug wires, all windows are in good shape, interior not bad either, the only problem that she has is that when you shift from 2nd to 3rd she slips, now I know this is a problem with most of the explorers, mine though seems to be different, for 1, if you take your foot of the gas and let it go into gear without giving it gas, it goes right itno gear and drives normal, if you floor it, she will slip, I should nipped this in the butt 4 and half years ago when my daughter owned it, but I never did, in 4 years of it doing the same thing, it hasn't gotten worse, and it hasn't gotten better, but I have had this problem ever since I got it from my kid, there is no overdrive code, and no codes when you read the OBD II codes. If someone doesn't buy this soon, I will be forced to part it out! starting it cheap, also local pickup only.
