1974 TRIUMPH TR 6 Price $12,000.00 Purchased in 2007 for 15,000.00 Mileage 35,000 Invested over 15,000.00 in upgrades, all records available. Improvements include: total engine rebuild, upgraded engine bolts, slightly modified new performance cam, lightened flywheel, rebuilt carbs, electronic ignition, performance wires and plugs, new fuel pump, electric fan, rebuilt 5 speed electronic overdrive transmission from Quantum Mechanics, new brakes, new clutch, stainless steel exhaust, new seals, various new cosmetic parts, etc. original owner’s manual, workshop manual, 2 covers – cloth and rain repellent, on board trickle charger. All mechanical work performed by local British car expert (contact information available). The Good: Car handles and runs well. Fun to drive. All mechanical parts new, less than 1000 miles on rebuilt engine, transmission and clutch. Needs: Electrical works well but wiring harness was my intended last upgrade yet to be done ($400 to $500). The Bad: It’s British and will always need something. Zenith Stromberg carbs….most times they work great, occasionally the needles will stick and the carbs may flood. Paint is part of an older restoration and will probably need to be redone in the next five to six years. Reason for selling: Two kids in college… need I say more?
