Vehicle Detail
I can't believe I'm selling this car! I found it on a farm this past New Years. I had it towed home and started working on it right away. The Good! Mechanically the car is sound. It had a full engine rebuild back in June of this year which also included a full brake job from front to back. The engine is a 1600 single port which gives the car a bump in horsepower. Turn signals, and headlights work, along with the windshield wipers. The car even has it's original sapphire radio which can be valued from $100-200.The car also has a new ties however I accidentally painted on them when I was coating the rims. The tires can be turned around on the rim. I was not planning onKeeping these rims and tires.Working factory installed crank sunroofOriginal Maryland State Plates from 1967New Clutch.Engine mounts and transmission mounts are new.New starter, fuel pump, points, condenser, coil, belt, pushrod tubes, valve covers, and rear engine seal. The Car Runs and Drives! I know the original owner. He purchased the car new in his early 20's at Bircher & Hamilton Motors in Madison, Indiana. He drove the car for about 17 years and parked it in 1983. There it sat until I saw it and knew that I could give it a second life. I have all service records along with a key to the doors. I also have the original sales brochure to the car.Although not pictured I do have the backseat to the car. The Bad...Rust, Rust, Rust, Body, Body, Body,...I'm selling the car because I have no knowledge in bodywork. Nor can I afford to have a professional do the work the way I would want it done in my area. The car needs Floor Pans, Heaterchanels, rear luggage compartment and a few minor repairs along the body. All of these parts can be ordered and welded in. The car has no ignition it needs to be hot wired to start. Click on the Youtube link below. only takes a second. How to start the car.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqLaifxS28A Buyer is responsible for picking up the car. It will need to be towed to your home. A deposit of $350 must be made within 24hours of sale. If you have zero feedback message me beforehand. If you have no feedback and you win this vehicle without prior consent the car will be sold to the second highest bidder. I reserve the right to close this auction at any time. Serious bidders only!
